Alabama A&M vs Lane College was an absolute blast
With a "Boots and Buckles" theme, Bulldog Nation showed up and showed out. Fans brought their best cowboy and Western gear, turning the stadium into a Southern-style showdown. And of course, the night wouldn't have been complete without DJ KB kicking things off with "Boots on the Ground" - a perfect start to a memorable evening
First Half: Defense Sets the Tone
The game started off slow offensively, but our defense wasted no time making their presence felt. A relentless Bulldog pass rush forced Lane College's quarterback to slip in the end zone, giving A&M the first points of the game with a safety
Victor Barbosa then nailed a beautiful field goal, pushing the score to a rare 5-0. Moments later, Xzavier Booker delivered a massive sack in the end zone for another safety, sending the crowd into a frenzy.
With the defense and special teams setting the tone, the offense found its rhythm. By halftime, the Bulldogs were in full control with a commanding 28-0.

Halftime: A Show to Remember
Halftime was noting short of spectacular.
The Marching Maroon and White Band brought energy to the field, putting on a performance that had fans on their feet. The Fabulous Flags twriled with precision and smiles, while the Dancin' Divas delivered a flawless routine that was nothing short of a masterclass in movement.

Second Half: Finishing Strong
Coming out of the break, Eric Handley, our freshman quarterback, continued to command the offense with poise. He led the Bulldogs down the field, extending the lead to 35-0. Lane College managed to avoid a shutout with a late-game interception returned to a touchdown, but the result was never in doubt.
Handley finished the game 15-of-28 for 205 yards, showing real promise. Once he settled into the role, you could see his leadership and accuracy come to life - earning him my Player of the Game honors.
Closing It Out in Style
No Alabama A&M game is complete without the 4th Quarter Light Show, and once again, it did not disappoint. Huge shoutout to our Athletics Department for creating an atmosphere that keeps fans coming back.

Up Next: The Bulldogs Head to Daytona
Next stop: Daytona Beach. We begin SWAC play this Saturday, and if this game was any indication, the Bulldogs are locked in and ready to roll.
I don't know about you, but I'm excited to see Da Chase continue.
Until next time - Go Bulldogs!
